What to know about the Swift
The Swift is the default answer in the premium hatchback segment, and it earns that position on running costs rather than spectacle. The 1.2-litre petrol engine is smooth enough for city traffic and relaxed at 100 km/h on the highway, and the manual gearbox is light in the hand.
