What to know about the Nexon EV
The Nexon EV is the car that made electric SUVs a realistic purchase for Indian families rather than an early-adopter statement. The single-speed motor delivers torque from zero, which makes it feel quicker than its outright power suggests in city traffic.
The 46.08 kWh battery gives a claimed 489 km, and a conservative 300-350 km is a fair real-world expectation with the air conditioning running. On the highway the motor runs out of leverage above 100 km/h, and range falls accordingly.
