The main change arrives in the engine as it now manages to put out 19.1 ps and 17.35 Nm in its four-valve. After the Hero has also tweaked the gear ratios and provided a larger 45-tooth rear sprocket. The final drive goes up by the 17th. The combination of these changes has resulted in the Xpulse feeling a lot livelier.

The Hero Xpulse 200 4V performs better in off-roading because of the new suspension. It gets a softer initial stroke. And while experienced riders would have preferred the firm suspension tune.
